First Million-Dollar "Deal Or No Deal" Winner Makes Dream Come True!
Congratulations to the Robinson Family! As many of you have already seen, Jessica Robinson, Ross Robinson's wife, won the first million-dollar prize on NBC’s "Deal Or No Deal" game show, which aired on Monday, September 1.
We're thrilled for Ross and his family at this time, and we're so happy to be associated with them. The show was filmed on July 9 and aired nearly two months later. Ross kept a tight lip about their winning the grand prize here in the office for the entire time. It wasn't until a week before the show aired that fellow co-workers began guessing the outcome and getting excited for what could and did happen to the Robinson family.
This company is ever pursuing its newly instituted mission to provide opportunities for individuals to live their dreams; and seeing one of our friends and co-workers do something that only one in a billion people will ever do, is truly remarkable. About a year ago, Ross met with our executive team about his career path and his dream to move his family to Texas, where his wife is originally from. Ross set a path to make that happen, working each day with his goal in mind - even riding his mountain bike to work on occasion to save money. Ross never imagined that his wife would win a game show, which would help them realize their dream of moving to Texas.
Ross and Jessica aren't the only ones who have accomplished their dreams within Pedersen Worldwide. Every month, Pedersen Worldwide awards one outstanding employee with $2,500 toward accomplishing his or her dream. One $2,500 employee, David Self, recently traveled back to Brazil with his Brazilian-born wife for the first time since her childhood. Another dream come true!
