First Del Sol Store in Central America Opens in Panama City, Panama
This store caters to millions of travelers from all over the world, who come by cruise ship and airplane to see the world-famous Panama Canal, which is only miles away from the new Del Sol store that's located in the Albrook Mall (largest mall in Central America).
Jose Digeronimo and Silvia Lopera are the proud new store owners. Silvia operates the store alongside store manager, Maria Isabel Monsalve. Silvia has an extensive background in marketing and retail, as a former marketing and sales manager for a large food manufacturing company in Panama. She was also a marketing and sales manager for Sketchers and DC shoes for Central America.
The main bus terminal for all of Panama conjoins with the Albrook Mall, bringing in tourists and travelers from all over Panama and Central America. Silvia and Maria are already flooding the city and hotels with flyers and banners, offering promotions and invitations to come see the new store. They're already exploring a number of other avenues for distributing Del Sol product, including carts at the Panama Canal visitor Center and the Colon Cruise Terminal.
